The food was really tasty and well done throughout. Definitely leave room for the crème brûlée -it’s worth it 👌
A big thanks to Siobhan as well for managing to sort a table even without a booking in what was a packed restaurant. Really friendly and helpful service, which made the whole visit even better. I’d happily come back 🍷👍

I've been here a few times and absolutely adore it. Great quality tapas. Amazing selection of ibericos. Their tiramisu is probably the best I've ever had. The place looks very cozy and nice.
Mind you, they are very busy, but that's a good sign!
I highly recommend visiting The Black Pig. I had a great experience in this place.
They have a massive list of wines, but I didn’t have any. A must visit for a wine lover.
Service:
I want to start off with this because it was one of the very best I’ve experienced. Raoul was very professional, friendly and had great knowledge about the ingredients in each dish (even in the sauces), how each meal was cooked and where it was sourced from. His recommendations were excellent, I’m really glad I went with his advice!
Atmosphere:
The place isn’t very big. There is an outside seating area but it’s closed often due to the rain. The inside can be a little cramped in some areas, with little space between tables. There is an inexplicable cosiness to the place and it fits in well with the decor and general atmosphere. The service and food more than makes up for this so I didn’t really think about this twice.
Starters:
Serrano Ham & Chorizo Croquettas: There were 2 medium-sized pieces in this dish but they were brilliant! There was a very good sauce served with it, which was a harissa mixed with mayo, but I don’t think this dish needed it at all. It was great on it’s own and this is something I’d happily recommend!
Crostini: This one was topped generously with courgettes and crushed almonds. I think it could have used a little bit more chilli. The whipped feta underneath it added to the much needed creaminess in this dish, which I think was used to counter the chilli. Quite refreshing and different.
Main:
Venison (Special): I went for this instead of the prawns based on Raoul’s recommendations, and I’m glad I did. It took slightly long to cook which was expected considering the amount of time it takes to rest, but it was well worth the wait. The meat was so tender, and soaked up the wine based sauce so beautifully. It had a base of the creamiest and most delicious celeriac puree I’ve ever had, and topped with fresh kale. Definitely a memorable one and if this special is available again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
Desserts:
Tiramisu: Highly recommend this dish. A tiramisu is always good, but they did a great job here. The cake layer in the middle was very airy and fluffy, which was perfect when paired with the mascarpone cream. A very well made tiramisu
Coconut Bon Bon: This was alright to me, didn’t seem very special. Quite filling for it’s size
Truffle: This was also good, but I wouldn’t really recommend it. Nothing out of the ordinary in thi
